banana cake ∙ for all your brown bananas

for all your days with brown bananas; here’s a recipe I got from a friend for a quick banana cake. I added a few ingredients myself and it’s so moist and delicious!

125g unsalted butter

150g caster sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla powder

1 egg, beaten

3 very ripe/brown bananas, mashed

190g self raising flour

60ml milk

1 teaspoon cinnamon

instructions

preheat the oven at 180 degrees. cover the tin with butter and flower, set aside. melt butter, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan over a medium heat. remove from the heat and add the mashed bananas, mix well.

add the egg, mix well. stir in the flour and the milk. finish with the cinnamon and mix well. pour the dough into the prepared tin, cut the last banana in half and put him on top of the dough, push it in a bit.

bake the cake for 30-45 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean. leave to cool and enjoy!
