easter festive tip ∙ candles
for my first easter festive tip I wanted to do something with candles. candles are not typical easter and do not match a brunch that well because there will be enough light. but I think it’s such a value to add them to my festive table settings. so I found out a way to make them look like little centerpieces as the perfect decoration.
I choose different shapes and colors and tied them together with a fine rope. note: if you are planning on lighting them, put a nice matching plate underneath your candles! second note: I didn’t use any glue to hold them together, it depends on which shapes you use and if the rope can hold them. you don’t want them to fall down!
as for the colors, I choose honey yellow to go for the easter vibe in combination with white, mustard yellow and soft blue. I bought my candles at Dille en kamille and Ester & Erik. I think it’s very important to choose your own favorite colors and combinations, but see if they match your tableware and the rest of your setting.
if i inspired you; would love to see pictures! send them on instagram, facebook or by e-mail!
enjoy the creativity!
